uhm... your lazy ass grows plants?
duh. i'm super freaking awesome and i have so many hobbies? oh, and my plants are a grade, but that's besides the point...
around the end of my sophmore year i decided that i wanted to learn more about plants and growing my own, specifically because my mom has been planting on her own for a couple of years. i, then, signed up for greenhouse, and tried to get into plant and soil science, however my academic advisor just hates children, fun, and love, so she did not allow me to join this science class. however, i am glad i did not get into that class considering i absolutely despised the plants based teacher from the start of the year. thankfully, she had left, and is now replaced with some old guy who actually let us plant things even though there were only a few months left of school.
at first i had zero luck, but turns out it's because we were given expired watermelon seeds. so, my friend and i went to our local Tractor Supply and bought some sweet cucumbers, lemon balm, cilantro, and lavendar (which now remembering i have to pay her back 5 dollars... whoops.) these planted so well, they're still currrently growing; however, i have one week left of school as of now, may 13th, so i would like to create my own little blog to keep myself responsible.
i'm really excited for what i grow, specifically the cilantro because i love cilantro.

5/29/2025 - long time relocated, long time updated got them home since the 21st but kept forgetting to update since it's literally hot as balls here in texas and i'm too tired by the time i'm actually watering my plants.
my cilantro is literally dead, but i did put some ibuprofen in all my pots to hopefully revive them and i think they're fairing better, but still not great...
i was replanting the smaller ones but ran out of soil, so i'm getting more and hopefully going to be able to replant them soon!
i finally have two pretty big cucumber plants, i just hope they'll be alive as the summer is getting hotter. my lemon balm is also growing big so i should probably be able to make some tea out of them soon.
on the note of the lemon balm, my friend said she wouldn't trust to consume it, but she literally wanted to use it to boil in water? so i don't understand how it could be bad after that... i feel its easier to trust considering we (i, seeing as i was the one to give her the plant to begin with) grew them ourselves.
but anyways, here's the pictures.

5/14/2025 - updated picture there was literally no soil except for a handful, so i just filled the already planted pots more. i'm going to have to relocate my plants soon because school ends the 22nd, so i'm probably not going to bother repotting my lemon balm. however, i am super worried that it will detrimental to their growth. i'm going to have to buy soil on my own and replant them at home. they smell incredible, i'm hoping when they're fully grown that they will taste perfect.

5/13/2025 - forgot pictures plants have been doing really good. my lemon balm is growing really well, so i'll probably repot them tomorrow. i'm just waiting for my cucumbers to start blooming. one of my biggest struggles is figuring out how i'm getting all these plants home considering there is only one week left of school... i suppose my mom is going to have to help me haul it lol...
important things i need to do tomorrow
- add more soil to cucumbers
- repot lemon balm
